Policies

*PAYMENT*: Money orders should be made out to Rob Bennett. Items paid by money order will not ship until the money order has cleared. International customers must contact me before purchasing by clicking on “contact us” link at the top of the homepage.

*SHIPPING TIME*:   All items are handmade in the order they are received.  Shipping time will vary depending on the backlog of orders at the time your order is placed.  Check shipping times on the homepage.

*SHIPPING ADDRESS*:  It is the responsibility of the customer to provide a correct shipping address. Unless requested otherwise items will be shipped to the address listed with Paypal. No refunds can be given due to an incorrect shipping address.

*DOMESTIC SHIPPING (USA)*: Customers who pay by money order may experience an extended shipping time. RMB Custom Leather is not responsible for damages resulting from shipping. Our policy at RMB Custom Leather is to inspect items when we receive them and before shipping them to customers. In order to receive credit for lost or damaged items you must purchase insurance during checkout. If you purchase more than one item you will qualify for the shipping discount which is: Charge my highest shipping cost for the first item and $3.00 for each additional item.

*INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (Worldwide)*: International customers must contact me before purchasing by clicking on the “contact us” link at the top of the store homepage to receive a shipping quote. Any additional shipping charges due for international shipments will be to the expense of the customer. RMB Custom Leather is not responsible for damages resulting from shipping. Our policy at RMB Custom Leather is to inspect items when we receive them and before shipping them to customers.

*SHIPPING INSURANCE*:  No refunds or replacement items will be given unless insurance is purchased.  You must request insurance before you process payment to be covered.  If ordering by email insurance must be requested or you will not be invoiced or covered with insurance.  If you purchased insurance you can receive a refund or replacement items after 7 days from when you notified us of an issue.

*SALES TAX*: Customers who reside in the State of North Carolina will be charged sales tax at the percentage set by state law.

*RETURNS*:  If your items are lost / damaged or for some reason you are not satisfied with a product you have purchased contact us within 7 days.  No refunds or replacements will be given on lost, damaged, or unwanted items unless you contact us within the 7 days.  The item must be returned in the same condition as received to get a full refund. The customer is responsible for all shipping fees.  If a credit card / Paypal was used for payment then the credit card / Paypal will be used to process the refund; could take up to 5 days for the funds to show in the account.  A 30% restocking fee may apply.  No refunds will be given for personalized items.

*LIABILITY*: By making a purchase from RMB Custom Leather the customer represents that the product purchased will be used in only a lawful manner and that he or she is of legal age to purchase and posses such items. By purchasing or ordering any knife, you represent that you are of legal age, and agree that you will take full responsibility for compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and other restrictions.

*AUTOMATIC KNIVES*: You must understand and agree to conform to the below laws completely before we can sell you Automatic Knives. 18 USC 1716 (G) (2) (1-4) provides this summary: Switchblades (automatic) knives can be shipped to civilian and armed forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal government ordering or procuring or purchasing such knives in connection with activities in the Federal government; supply or procurement officers in the National Guard, the Air National Guard or militia of the state or territory of the District of Columbia ordering, procuring or purchasing such knives in connections with the activities of such organizations; to supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or the government of any state or territory of any county, city or other political subdivision of a state or territory ordering, procuring or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such government. 5 USC 1244 provides in summary: Knives can be shipped by common carrier, that sale, transportation or distribution, possession or introduction into interstate commerce of switchblade knives is authorized if it is pursuant to a contract with the armed forces or any member or employee thereof acting in the performance of his or her duty may possess switchblade knives and may have them shipped to him/her and sold to him or her. The possession and transportation upon his or her person of a switchblade knife or a blade 3 inches or less is authorized to any handicapped individual who has the use of only one arm. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS AND REPRESENTATIONS. By placing an order you are stating that: You have read Sections 18 USC 1716 (G) (2) (1-4) and 15 USC 1244, as stated above, and will fully comply and agree that by placing an order, you are one of those qualified under this law to buy/receive these knives.

*STORE EMAIL LIST*: If you do not want to be added to our store email list please indicate during checkout.

*TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS*: We are not responsible for any typographical errors that may be posted on this site. In the event an error is discovered we will make every effort to offer a fair resolution.

*SIZING*: For items that require sizing it is the responsibility of the customer to provide correct measurements. No refunds will be given on incorrect measurements.

*LIABILITY*: When you purchase any item from RMB Custom Leather you are agreeing that you know and understand that you are assuming all responsibility for any injuries resulting from the use of that item. You are also agreeing that RMB Custom Leather will not be held liable for any misuse or accidents resulting from the use of any item purchased.

*WHOLESALE REQUIREMENTS*:  Wholesale customers must contact me to arrange an order.  You must provide me with a copy of your reseller’s certificate or the equivalent issued by your state.

Discounts are as follows:

Distributor – Initial order must be $5000.00 and every order after must be at least $500.00.  Distributor discount will be 50% off the retail price listed on the website.  After the initial order you must at least make three orders a year to keep receiving distributor pricing.  All orders get free shipping.  Your company website link will be added to the favorite’s link on the our website.

Dealer – Initial order must be $2500.00 and every order after must be at least $250.00.  Dealer discount will be 30% off the retail price listed on the website.  After the initial order you must at least make two orders a year to keep receiving dealer pricing.  Free shipping on initial order ONLY.  Your company website link will be added to the favorite’s link on our website.
